“I want to set up an optician’s shop, but make it look like we’re in an old factory.” Those were my client’s first words when we met for coffee to discuss the project. The words “optics” and “factory” got my mind racing, and before we even finished that coffee, I already had the project in mind.

Another way to sell glasses. The client presented me with an innovative idea for selling glasses in a comfortable and relaxed environment, as if the user were at home, surrounded by those decorative elements that make a difference.

Iron, wood, exposed brick, petroleum colors, wallpaper… We wanted to move away from the classic and boring concept of an optician’s shop, so with the word “factory” etched in my mind, I started looking for materials. Iron, wood, exposed brick, petroleum and black colors, fantastic moldings, and wallpaper. All of this was seasoned with furniture and decor from Casa Pastor, a benchmark in the world of interior design for over 30 years, which has successfully recycled itself to offer unique, top-quality products.

The result couldn’t have been better. We’ve created, in the heart of Gandia, an optician’s shop you’ll want to come in to enjoy not only a brilliant product at killer prices, but also art books and home decor that transport us, without realizing it, to the streets of the most chic New York.
